We pick up furniture from your home, providing you live within 20 miles of Washington, DC. There is no cost for pick-up, although if you are happy with our box truck driver and assistant, they always appreciate a tip!
FurnishHopeDC gratefully accepts the following household items:
FURNITURE (must be gently-used and stain-free, no obvious signs of wear and tear)
• couches, living room chairs, end tables, coffee tables, TV stands, low bookcases
• mattresses (no King-sized), toddler beds, cribs, dressers, night tables
• dining tables & chairs (not TOO large)
*we cannot take furniture made with glass, and no armoires or credenzas
HOUSEHOLD GOODS:
• dinner sized plates, regular water glasses (no wine or specialty glasses),
• pots & pans, silverware and other kitchenware
• small appliances like microwaves, toaster ovens
• towels, in like new condition
• televisions, from within the last 5-8 years
• standing or table lamps
